At the JCC Preschool we view each child as unique, with an individual growth and developmental pattern. Different levels of ability and learning styles are expected, accepted and used to design age appropriate activities.
Our goal is to meet each child’s needs and stimulate learning in all developmental areas:
• Social– give and take in a group environment
• Intellectual—cognitive and language skills
• Emotional—developing a positive self-image
• Spiritual—foster awareness and respect for all religions and for Judaism through Sabbath and holiday celebrations
• Physical—large, small and perceptual motor skills
Our developmentally based curriculum supports and encourages a young child’s natural way of learning, while fostering an understanding of basic concepts on which future learning depends.
Our Pre-School Schedule:
Mornings 9:15 to 11:45 a.m., for children 3—5 years old.
Optional Lunch Plus Enrichment Classes
Every day from 11:45 to 1:00 p.m. We offer “extra” session in programs like Music & Movement, Tumbling & Large-Muscle Motor Skills, Cooking, Basketball—you may chose which days and programs your child will enjoy.
