JCC YOUTH AND TEENS

The JCC is fun, fitness and friends for children and teens, offering the following programs:

Children
Year long a variety of activities which include:

• Kids Zumba & Aerobics
• Swim & Gym
• Nutrition classes
• In-Center theme days
• Trips to local amusements
• Art and sports
And Did You Know...
THE JCC offers programs based on the American Council on Exercise’s Operation Fit Kids. The program consists of 2 sessions each week for 4 weeks. During each session there is a physical component and a nutritional component. Also, participants receive incentive prizes as they complete each week to the BEST of their ability.

School  Days Off
During holidays when school is out, the JCC offers programs for first through sixth graders, complete with recreational activities and selected field trips. School Days Off programs include:Winter Camp, Pre & Post Camp, Spring Vacation and other school-out days.

Preteens
For JCC members in the fifth through eighth grades. Activities include sports, party nights, and overnights at the JCC and local trips such as bowling, ice skating, arcades, mini-golf, movies and anything else you can think of.

Birthday Parties
We want to make your next birthday celebration a piece of cake! Let the JCC party professional handle all the arrangements. BBYO

B'nai B'rith Youth Organization)
BBYO is a Jewish youth group, with the Scranton chapter associated with the mid-Atlantic region, which is made up of eleven chapter/cities. Activities include regional conventions, each with a different theme. The themes include leadership training, social action, sports and socialization. Along with the conventions are a variety of local programs and out-of-town special events, such as Panim el Panim, a Jewish, political, leadership training program held in Washington D.C., winter trips to Israel, ski trips, serving food to the poor, assisting the elderly, and nights out for fun local activities. BBYO is available to all Jewish high school aged JCC members.
